Tell me if I fucked up on this /out/.
A few weeks ago, got myself a pair of Karrimor KSP Grampian eVents. It looks like Karrimor has discontinued them, which is probably why they were on sale at the outlet store for 40% off.
Pros so far seem to be:
>Been through seven circles of hell and back since I got them, and while the leather clearly isn't as aesthetic anymore as it was out of the box, besides that they're still in excellent condition
>Best outsole of any boots I've ever bought, I don't think it's physically possible to slip in them. Been over rocks in nasty rainstorms and it felt just as safe as walking down a dirt road on a sunny day.
>Comfy as shit, feels like walking on a pillow
Cons so far:
>They seem to have been built for winter snow trips, because they insulate body heat like a motherfucker. My feet feel like they're in an Auschwitz oven after 30 minutes of walking. And more like two minutes if I decide to take a rest break in a place where they're exposed to direct sunlight, the leather seems to heat up faster than a frying pan
>The toe bumper is microscopic in size, I don't think it's large enough to protect against anything at all and is pretty much useless
>Still relatively expensive compared to the other boots in the store even with the discount (a bit over $160)
Where they worth it /out/ or do you think I could have gotten a better bang for my buck?
