My next setup is gonna be a 9'3 or 9'6 XH rated for up to 16 oz with a shimano tranx 400. But I'm not sure if I'm gonna get it this year because ive spent more than enough on pike/musky gear, but eventually I gotta cast bulldawg pounders. I've caught hundreds of pike on that rod on my trip up to our secret pike lake, and I've caught all but one of my muskie on it since I started targeting them. After catching musky, i refuse to do any other type of fishing because every time I see a musky follow my heart drops, and nothing beats watching massive fish demolish your lure right in front of you on a figure 8. Bass fishing just doesn't thrill me anymore.
