i have a few old knives and a enemaled pan with a bit of exposed metal on the outside and want to store them for a few months while not in use. what kind of oil or grease if any should i put on the exposed metal to prevent them from rusting? i would assume a viscocious food safe grease would be best but don't know which one or if mineral oil is better suited for my needs.
