>>2242180You can make a really good wood gas stove out of a wine chiller. I made one for myself and a friend a few years ago. They look kinda ghetto, but they last basically forever. If you can't find one at a thrift store. I made my first one out of three cand with a leatherman and a bar key. It lasted two years of intermittent use camping in Alaska and then I gave it to the guy I built the stainless one for before I moved out of state. I love wood gas stoves because they burn just about anything super clean and twigs are easy to find anywhere. A good pair of pruning shears a 6 in coping saw and a carpenters pencil sharpener and any kind of lighter and your good to go. If you build them right they break down and nest really easy. The one thing that I wanted to try but never got the chance was making an ultralight tent stove with it with collapsible dryer duct.
