It's a flying insect, not a mosquite or a fly, pretty small.
The sting doesn't hurt at all. And there is no itching following the sting.
But it leaves this matchstick head sized discored dots on my body that are there even a week afterwards.
I'm guessing it's some kind of mild digestive poison and I'm getting little dots of digested flesh under my skin, which is why it stays so long and is instantly red after a bite.
Any ideas? That image is 1 day old, but my week old ones look exactly the same.
