Since it rains every fucking day and the entirety of Florida is a swamp with no drainage I've been trying a hammock setup, pic related, just a test in the Backyard with new gear pls no bully. Seems comfy enough dry enough and with the bug net might actually be possible to stay out for more than a night or 2 in the summer.
Realistically, FL sucks so far and I mostly just drive North into the hills and mountains to really get into it.
