It's not that big a deal to deal with, but casting with that thing definitely needs more attention than a spinning reel. Especially in the wind and if I try to cast lighter lures etc.Pretty happy with this setup. It's actually as light, if not lighter than my shorter 2pc setup w/okuma trio.
Didn't catch shit other than a small eel that bit when I wasn't paying attention and left a grub sitting in like 3 inches of water. Saw a lot of papio chasing my lures right up to the rocks, but nothing bit. Probably would have done OK if I used bait, but I hate hauling that crap around.
