But anyway... I used to think like you. “I do it for the memories, not for photos”. Turns out that memories fade as you get older.
Especially when you hit a rough spot. Photos remind you that things can be better.
Sometimes i think back to trips I did when i had the attitude of refusing to take photos, and kick myself for not having anything to look back on. Othertimes i'm glad my friends insisted on taking at least took a couple photos, so at least i have something to look back on.
