it's a small version of a hand sythe. it's good for paring and trimming plants. it's a terrible fighting knife. a regular knife or dagger can do all the things a karambit can do and more.
only a mentally handicap person would try to punch somebody with their knife instead of slash or stab techniques. it's not rocket science, karambits were a last resort self weapon when they were conceived and gained notoriety when introduced cause 'muh exotic fighting skillz hur'.
even that Doug Marcaia knife fighter guy made a knife and surprise! it's not a karambit.
