Imagine a newborn trying to wrestle its sibling. At 6 months, it's a brute of a dog that can give a German Shepherd a run for its money. At full maturity, it's a 120kg monster that can break ribs just by bodyslamming someone, and don't even get me started on the bone-pulverizing bite.
They are a massive headache to train even for an experienced dog owner. They need iron discipline, a strict regimen and a perfect balance between reward and punishment. Falter a couple of times before they hit 1 year and it's pretty much over. Oh, and they choose an owner for life, the rest are just tolerated. Fuck up and you'll get an uncontrollable beast that mauls every living thing that appears at your doorstep.
Seriously, you guys have no idea how massive, powerful and vicious these dogs are and how difficult their attitude is. I've seen dozens of owners who had no choice but to put their dogs down because they failed to train them properly and created a public menace. Unless you own a flock of sheep or have a massive plot of land that needs protection, a Caucasian Shepherd is not a dog for you. Ignore my advice at your own peril.
