I made a spoon knife a while back, pic related, but fucked up the HT a bit, and it's too brittle. So I plan to make another at some point soon-ish, head down into that cellar and carve myself a spoon.
It was Ray Mears that got me interested, and then I found out about the welsh tradition for love spoons, and thought i really should make one for my GF. So far I've just made a love spatula. It's pretty decent but spoons are where it's at.
