>>1544845saw the surgeons today and they seem pretty confident that i'll get full use of my thumb back. luckily due to the angle of the cut i've got a lot more of the thumb pad than I thought which is awesome.
But they said that hiking shouldn't be an issue so I'm going to start the pct at the end of the week. Just got to keep an eye on it, keep it clean, and change the dressing when I get to town. in a couple of weeks it should be healed enough to not really need a dressing.
