I was reading all over the place about how you can only walk your dog 5 minutes per month of age, but again that is breed and fitness dependent and is a generalization to be as safe as possible for all breed and owner types (some owners might not closely monitor their dogs specific fitness abilities)
my little nigga hiked out 9 miles, took a nap and ate his lunch and sauntered back with me when he was like 6 months old. dude can now trail run a marathon with me at 2 years. but he's also a cattle dog/not pure-bred, so he's kinda built for that and not expected to have goofball genetic disorders from inbreeding
