One arrow got very canted flights which makes it look ridiculous when shot.
I'm sure there's some kind of optimum, like with gun rifling but I was not extremely precise in attaching the flights anyway, I found it to be a pain in the ass. One tip for beginners is trying out duct tape (or similar) flights like in

A protip for aspiring fletchers is to skip the X-acto blade and just peel off the flights by grabbing the feather at the tip and pulling in the direction that would be "towards the bird", if you get me. Go that direction when shaping the flights with scissors aswell. Against the lean.
You're also apparently supposed to orient them like picrelated. One sticking straight out perpendicularly from the riser and the other two at 120 degree intervals, obviously.
