>>2724927The one fly costs 12 sure but the pack of hooks costs 6 the bucktail costs another 6 krystal flash is something like 5 more bucks, 2 or 3 for a spool of thread, 5 for a bag of feathers, and 3 more of sparkle braid. Sure you can now tie 24 decievers, but you still spent 50 bucks on flies, and you can only tie one colour unless you double back for more feathers and bucktail. It like re loading you're still going to spend the same or more but you get more out of it. Plus let's say you want to get in to dry flies, it's easy to spend 120 bucks on two good hackle capes. Then dont forget buying stuff on iij impulse and not using it enough to make back your investment.
