Nobody cares. You could grind up and ingest all of the plastic in the bottle and probably be fine. The FDA says PET is safe for repeated use, it does not contain BPA. There are no known health effects from PET plastics. Using a steel or glass bottle for "health reasons" is on the same plane of sanity as using wrist magnets or grounding shoes for "health reasons".
