>>2351473Texas is 14/50 states in terms of highpoint rankings ... it's not Colorado but it beats all of your east coastlet states. besides, elevation is just dick measurements when what really matters is isolation + form.
>>2351485The weather in New England is amazing? That's surprising to hear because when I lived there it was cold, gray, and rainy for over half the year. And everyone around me was constantly complaining about the weather.
The summers in New England are humid and hot. They're actually worse than Texas because nobody has a fucking air conditioner and just sweats through the swampy heat like a pilgrim. I'll take 100 and humid with AC over 90 and humid with no AC any day. Over half of the state of Texas is actually quite low humidity, also, being a drier desert climate. The supposedly "flat and barren" land actually includes an area probably 3x the size of your state that is hilly and agriculturally bountiful and fertile, with multiple growing seasons. Good luck growing anything in your piss poor soil.
Congratulations on discovering prominence you fucking moron. The "prominence" of the amusement park referred to as Mount Washington is a complete lie because it's measured as if the base of the mountain is almost sea level, when in fact it's already 3000 feet up. Prominence is an arbitrary measurement that is often twisted, especially by coasties trying to LARP their hills as mountains. Also, the most prominent mountain in Texas is Emory Peak not Guadalupe. With a prominence of 4'485 measured from the desert floor right next to it, it completely wrecks Mount Washington in terms of views. You can see hundreds of miles into Mexico. What can you see from Mount Washington, a little train full of children chugging along the slope like a fucking hallmark movie? A line of fat white people in cars driving up?
