Alright /hgm/ I could use some advice. I've always been interested in becoming more self-sufficient and have been gardening for years, and I want to make the leap into raising livestock. However, I recently learned that my hometown's laws expressly forbids all livestock, even chickens. What would be the best livestock to raise on the down-low that wouldn't be noticed by the neighbors, assuming I thoroughly block the view of my backyard? I'm currently thinking of doing meat rabbits because they're practically silent, and possibly quail since I figure nobody around here knows what the hell a coturnix sounds like. Any help would be appreciated.
