We are entering bonfire season in the mid-lattitude northern hemisphere. Ordered the 26" Husqvarna (upgrading from fiskas) because you just cant beat the price. With Gransfors Bruks approaching $200 for one that will come sooner than 6 months from now. I have seen reviews of the husqvarna that are either great or terrible with the bad reviews zeroing in on one problem -the head breaking. I am taking the risk that those were part of a bad batch and if Im I'm wrong I'll suck it up and buy the better gransfors (probably the L.L. bean branded one since its slightly cheaper). Has anyone had experience with both? I've already read through the site where the dude reviews axes. His tests are not consistent (his excuse it s timing) which I dont like.
