I missed the boat, I only got interested in bikepacking the past few weeks, I am busily putting together some kit and prepping a bike, but by the time everything is ready we'll be heading into winter.
I've been into bike since I was a jkid, I've been camping when I was younger too plus I learned orienteering when I was at school, but I never thought to put these three things together until I stumbled on a video.
Anyway it's fine, I will take my time putting together a nice set up, brush up on my map reading and survival skills, will study some nice areas to visit and plan a few trips for spring and summer 2023.
Can't wait, I already scouted a few spots in the countryside around my home town, so if we have a bit of dry weather before winter hits and I have everything I need, I'll do a couple of one nighters just to get a feel for it.
