And worst-case scenario you can buy a bunch of nuts, sprout them, grow them in your front yard, and have hundreds / thousands of trees sprouting there that you sell for money while they have to look at your garden that they can't do shit about because presumably they aren't banning trees.
In the first place I would either sue or protest because it sounds like a nonsense law.
This is what a tree bed looks like btw, looks nearly identical but if their ordinance doesn't ban trees you can plant the trees.
