i would definitely recommend upgrading to gas, because it basically removes half the cleaning. the nice part about the alcohol stove is that fuel is more readily available in small towns and it is basically silent whereas the gas stove sounds like a god damn jet engine, good heat spread tho so its easier to control temp with gas

this one? i have on of the steel ones, heavy, built like a god damn tank, good for cooking directly on a fire, would not recommend for longer trips, it does have some nice features on it like being able to extend the handle of the pan with a stick and mutiple hanging positions for the pot, the alc burner is bigger then a normal one and the windscreen is nice. but it is SO heavy
