I use an F1 and it serves me well during various survival exercises. Outside of survival scenarios I also carry a Gränsfors vildmarksyxa that I use for more quantitative work or larger projects. The S1 on its' own is a bit on the smaller side and if I didn't have the hatchet I'd purchase an S1 or an A1 for chopping and batoning/splitting.
