>>2652947>>2655929Happened to me a few times mountainbiking. You're pedaling hard and getting hot and it's humid out with a wet bulb temperature of 90ºF, but you think you're fine because all the wind blowing through you, and then you stop because you've pushed yourself to 100%, and as soon as you aren't moving your core temperature soars and you start to get fuzzy tunnel vision and hyperventilating and go into complete confusion and it's scary as fuck because it's like a meltdown that you can't reverse and your blood literally feels like it's burning you while your vision's blacking out and you just start spinning. One time I took my clothes off and literally crawled into a mud puddle and it brought me back from the brink. After that on hot days I would bring two frozen water bottles in my backpack, which would be at least half thawed after an hour of riding or so, and dumping the ice water down my back and over my head has brought me back from the brink more than once. Fuck getting olde.
