>>1609451Yes but in my mind the act of smoking a pipe is a small shelter from the horrible weather. It makes me think of the years where I was either homeless or commuting by bicycle in upstate NY even in the winter. It was those small comforts, such as my pipe... the contrasts that I remember fondly.
