>>1383758Are you not paying attention to the conversation? Farmland isn't worth anything when compared to oil & gas wells. The worst part is that there's a big chance it will ruin the water table in the area. That is something that happened to a few people even where I live. The company just threw some money at them and they left their farm to get smaller property somewhere else. One guy forced them to bring water in for him though. lol He tried suing, but settled for that. Which I think was a dumb move on his part. You can't farm without a water source and both the companies and land/mineral rights change names and hands often, respectively.
If oil & gas is coming your way, just sell out and move to a place where it doesn't exist. It isn't worth the headache or heartache. That's my advice.
