We were riding a "pig with wings," which is a truck trailer on top of a flatbed car (piggyback) with little aerodynamic shields coming off the side (wings). The wings hide you from yard workers and the trailer overhead gives shade+a mounting point for hammocks. It's comfy, but once the train gets over like 50mph the hammocks bounce too much to sleep in
