And I'm getting tons of black sand. But so far I'm only getting one tiny speck per trip out there. But at least I can now say I have found gold up there. I've only taken samples from spots in two, currently dry, seasonal creek beds and a couple spots down in the year round creek that they feed into. I'll probably still try a few more locations. But I'm not expecting to find much. There are other areas not too far away I can check out that were actually historically gold producing. And they're on unclamable public land, so anyone can recreationally prospect there. So I'll definitely be checking them out too at some point.
