>>2733977No idea about the bass fishing in the PNW, but I've had a lot of luck with jig worms and frog lures (especially for bigger bass), in AZ montane forest lakes. I get the most bites in the morning in the dog days of summer, and a lot of bites around dusk in late spring when it's still cold in the mornings. It's not uncommon to catch 20-30 dinks and a few medium/bigger size bass on a decent day in my region.
