However, oil and gas companies now want to put in 6 wells on and around my property. I don't have much property either. They are the massive multi-acre drilling pads for Marcellus well that use hydro-fracking miles in every direction. There will be a holding pond for slug and shit they pump out installed just uphill of my entire property. It'll be larger than my entire place.
There's already a few wells a 1/2 mile and 1 mile away. All I hear day and night is the sound of well rigs. And, my well water has already changed drastically. I can't even drink it now. It stinks and is foul. I have to bring in water from a friends out about 10 miles away. There's literally nothing I can do about it that would actually have an effect.
