If you want a hatchet, get a hatchet. Kukris come close, but ER is not far enough down that path, but too far to still make a knife that cuts like a true outdoor blade.
Some aren't bad (i like the mamba by ER), but for the most part, 6mm thick prybars just can't compete in the cutting departament.
