>>219987Today it turned really hot outside all of a sudden. It is in the 70s. I had to open the tunnel because it reached 101F! Proper temps are supposed to be 60F to 65F at night and 70F-75F during the day. Below 55F and above 90F are danger zones.
I took the opportunity to water the plants, pollinate the flowers, switch out some bottles with painted black bottles, and remove dead leaves and plants that got cold zapped last week or so. The plants that didn't get zapped then are actually doing pretty well.
If these tomato plants don't make it, I'll be planting other crops in there that are a bit more lenient with swinging temps. I would also like to install vent fans for cooling. Then when the temps get too high the fans kick on to lower them.
I've been having a lot of fun with this during a time of year I normally and shut inside out of the cold.
