>>1032898>>1032902yeah, its not about hp, its about how its applied, and really, offroad, you dont want too much power or you'll just spin the tires. and the s 10 is a cracking little truck, my dad had a long bed with a cover on it, and it was sweet. i was planning on fixing it up and throwing a matress in the back for long trips to save on lodging (all you do is pull over, pull some fuzes, move your shit to the cab, and if the police bother you tell them it wont start and youll fix it in the morning)
>>1032914buy a cabellas 3 forks/prestige plus fly rod/reel combo in 6 weight on sale for 60-70 usd, a couple of 3x leaders, and some 3x tippet on a spool, then buy a couple of flies, i reccomend foam terrestrials, and fish for bluegill on still water, then as your skills progress that 6 weight will be just fine to go after trout, bass, small pike, small carp (about the size of pic related should be fine) then if you decide you want some more specialty rods, you can get a 3 or 4 weight for smaller trout, and panfish, or you can get an 8 weight for bigger pike and big carp, salmon/steelhead, and throwing bigger bass flies
dont get totally shitty gear for your first fly combo (thats why i reccomend the one i did) or it will be a lot harder than it has to be and youll wind up hating it. aside from that you can learn everything you need to know from youtube and orvis
