Oregon sawyer reporting in. I'm on a crew that does thinning work in the Willamette forest. The fir trees here grow like weeds and my typical day is spent with chainsaw in hand falling small to medium sized trees for eight hours. Most of the units we work on are on slopes with hero scale views and there is something special about walking from tree to tree falling like it aint shit.
