I have 2/3 of a cord of last winters firewood along with brush. My soil is straight sand after a few inches so its raised bed in front and small hydroponics system in the back that the chickens shouldnt be able to reach. I have 17cy of 80% loam 20% compost being delivered. And I need to revitalize my old beds. I need to figure out what layout and what sort of bed I want to make. I dont have enough funds for bricks or boards so theyre going to have to be mounds. Anyone have any recommendations?
