>>2042010man I was gonna start a /wool/ thread part 2. now that I've been wearing wool near-daily for about 6 weeks and have washed/lanolized it. I'm the OP from the compfy wool thread with /sci/ crossover a couple months back.
>>2042044>big bill in canada makes wool trousersbased, thx. a nice pair of wool trousers is what I need, but I'm fine wearing jeans and trolling autistics.
>>2042114yeah, the fabric weights of merino really fucked me. I was able to find decent stuff:
>100% merino longs, 220gsm from duckworth>100% merino shorts, 215gsm from dilling>>2042142dunno man, I've been wearing about 90% wool full time now and it's really not itchy. a couple things are, like a fancy pendleton shirt and an old iceland lopi. the pendleton I believe will stop being itchy once I wear it enough and wash it.
pic related is the lanolin dissolved in boiling water. I fucked up the first time and added it to cold water. it reconstituted and put sticky shit all over my clothes. easily fixed by dissolving more lanolin, adding it SLOWLY to WARM water, and letting the water cool a bit before adding the clothes and gently rubbing out the sticky bits.
