This looks okay, OP. I feel obligated to say something about the fedora, but it look alight I guess.

I was just looking at that pack a few minutes ago which is weird. I'm not sure why you're using an alcohol stove when you'd be better off with a butane tank (small) and pocket stove.

I don't see much first aid stuff which is fine, i don't bother much with that either.

I think if you were to bring food and clothes for multiple days, you'd be in a bit of trouble for space, but maybe you're a short trip kinda guy.

Overall, cool looking pack but meh/10

The pin that holds the handle must have fallen out in my bag, and then morphed into a different timeline shortly after because it is nowhere to be found. I have just been roughing it without the pin for the last 6months or so- the handle falls off every now and then but it's not like fishing is action packed enough for this to be a big issue.

I wanna get a legit set-up soon. I might even drop 70 bucks or so on a reel just to be done with it. I'm mostly catching lake trout but I want to get something that can handle bigger fish just in case.

What are good rod/reel/line combos for somebody that wants to have one rig for everything?

I'm a backpacker so telescoping rods would be cool but it's not too much of a hassle to slip the rod into the bag... just risky.

Any suggestions for a one rig setup for lake fishing in the rocky mountains? (Colorado to Montana?)
