Caught my first trouts guys, floated worms and powerbaits on circle hooks into their faces (actually hitting the fish) for probably three hours while they moved from pool to pool, tried moving split shot way back and didnt do much. caught a crick chub during this process. I switched to a mini jig with a bit of worm and started jigging across the creek from the other side and they exploded. I barely know anything at all so this was a long you tube based learning process for me. I am definitely going to invest in some spinner baits
I want to go back but its rained for the last few days and the creeks should be pretty fast and flooded right now. Can I still catch trout in these conditions?
