>>2644703Dude, the outer banks of NC (Corolla to Ocracoke) has some of the best surf fishing in the world. You can drive on the beach if your car can handle it and you buy whatever permit you need, or go to the piers. Jeneatte's Pier in Nags Head is a really nice pier, but I recommend avoiding on weekends as it crowds up with morons pretty quickly. Buxton has "the point", the part of the banks that makes that right angle. That particular spot is incredible for large bull red drum. Something about the wave pattern at that spot that creates holes for bait and predators alike. I personally like to fish the more remote beaches between Nags Head and Avon. Get out there, find a hole, and throw some cut bait or fishbites out there. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, watch some youtube videos. HeySkipper has a lot of OBX content and he catches a lot of shit. I pulled this red out of the beach at Frisco, which is just SW of Buxton on fresh dead shrimp, casted maybe 15 yards from shore. Good luck anon.
