Another option is something I grabbed out of a Scout cookbook called "cowboy dinner". Basically, it's a stack, bottom to top, of sliced potatoes, minced beef with onions and kidney beans mixed in, and then bacon on top. Add some good seasoning, give it 40 minutes, and again, it's a delicious, low-effort meal. Foil packages combine comfy camp food with the ease of not lugging cookware, and definitely should be in all of our handbooks as a quick and easy way to make a munch.
