I used to live near Yosemite and spent many a night in the Sierra Nevada. Yeah, it was great.
Now, I live in the dolomites in northern Italy. And yeah, it's great.
To be honest both are places have big high mountains, vast space of undamaged land - many places off the regular paths where you can just chill and camp a few days.
I get we are on a Chilean goat herder enthusiast forum but the constant need to feel better than others and defend yourself is just so eeeeehh. We should be happy that other anons get to enjoy good nature, and encourage those without to experience what we get the chance to do.
