I just did a day hike with my brother during the hurricane a few days ago and it flooded a good few feet, had a blast exploring and making sure the river and surrounding environment was okay. We had to stop because we somehow got bit and stung by fireants, and I just set up my ridgeline, put my poncho above it, staked it down, and we tended the damage. Stayed 100% dry the entire time.
