>>599287well thats my point exactly, he was rash, and with some more forethought, I think he could have increased his odds quite significantly. Obviously you could always do more, but I feel like there's a bare minimum one should put in to be taken seriously as an example of trying to live it out in the wilderness. That being said, I honestly think he did ok with how little he prepped, had some pretty piss poor luck with the plant and the river.
