>>2145048It really depends what you like. Obviously the contenders are Arizona, Southern Utah, Colorado, California, Wyoming, Montana, Washington, Alaska, and some of the states out near the AT. Definetely Alaska if you are talking about the most pristine sections of wilderness, Wyoming or Washington if you want tall snowy mountains, Colorado if you are talking sheer volume of trails and areas etc. I really like the remoteness of Wyoming and the snowy range there is really cool
