Powerbait (aside from the trout eggs and dough stuff) is just decent soft plastics like the dozens of other companies. Gulp has more scent. But most common game fish in the US (bass and all the panfish) aren’t attracted to the scent much. They hunt based on movement and sight and vibration. As far as I can tell, the scent just makes the fish hold on a little longer and gives you a better chance to set the hook.
