>>1202177I have fished once on a charter in Jordan with a 5000 Stella vertical jigging in the Red Sea; It had the smoothest motherfucking drag I be ever felt, I could feel a fucking 200gr jig rigged on pe 4.5 being teased by a swordfish 160mtrs down almost the same way I feel my ultra light 30gr slow jigs on a 0.6 pe braid also being about 150- 200gr lighter and having the same massive breaking power that my cheap 8000 okuma has made it easier keep on jigging with way less effort after the 3 hour mark where I usually get sore from jerking one kilo set up up and down. Also my educated guess would be that you would also have more control in lighter set ups like light jigging or slow jigging where feeling the jig is the A and Ω of said techniques. Tho ofc I do consider it a niche luxury aimed at rich Japanese fishing otakus and commercial charters, as my stradik performs perfectly in the same conditions and doesn't cost my firstborn and an arm, also advancements in braid (dat suffix power line has almost double pounds in breaking strength in the same pe than any non commercial braids in the current market) fluoro,jig tech(tungsten and hybrid metalworking and rod tech (dat banocarbon filament tech)do make fishing easier without the need for such a luxury item.
