Went shooting long range this weekend, got good hits out to 700-something meters, but unfortunately no hits on the 15x15 cm taget at 1000.
Was using my hunting rifle and ran out of clicks on the scope, had to hold 3 mil over, was close but no hit unfortunately.
Need to get .243 bullets so I can load up some ammo for my very budget precision rifle, but it's way more capable than my .308 out past 800 meters.
Also learned that I need a taller bipod, a 20 MOA rail and probably try to find a good load with Scenar 175 instead of 167, as the BC is much improved and the signature as well.
Tried shooting a bit from the barricades as well, and it went better than expected, as I haven't practiced much with those, too much load development autism.
