My dog (black lab/blue heeler mix) and I walked up to our pond one day. When we were close, we spooked three of those bastards, and they took off in a huge, wide circle honking and freaking out. Dog went in the water of course while the geese were still flying around. All of a sudden, they're coming in low over me (thought they were going to attack for a moment), but they land in the pond again... with the dog still in there. The dog thought it was Christmas and didn't know which one to swim to first, and being the slightly retarded creatures that geese are, it took them awhile to realize, "Oh shit, dog," and then they had problems taking off because they were freaking out yet again. I was laughing too hard to get good pictures.
That little black Loch Ness looking creature is my very, very excited dog.
