As Tunneltents are not freestanding and often need a bigger area to setup its harder to find a perfect spot. This can cause some of the walls hanging a bit loose and flap in the wind. However i always managed to get it somehow stable and never really had problems with it being loud. I dont have experience with the Nallo since i went for pic related and am happy with it. Perfect for alpine use and for me alone its a palace.

Depends completly on the biome/climate you going.
Freestanding=heavy but sturdy, can put up everywhere, handles loads well, depending on tent wind will be a problem or not(big sides catch wind)
Tunnel= not freestanding, need rocks soft ground to stake it out, once staked right pretty much indestructible in wind but sometimes weak to heavy loads ontop

For me the best tent is pic related even tho its more like 1,5 man

Buy a very shitty tent for starters (mostly heavy not very long living) until you know what you like and want (free standing, apsis, dome, tunnel, hang in inner tent, free standing inner tent, weight, 2-4season, etc.). Then look for a good quality tent that will last you long and fits you needs. Price range is up to over 1200€. Top of the end tents are made by Hilleberg, MSR, Fjallraven, TNF, Nordisk. Middle class in the price range you stated are tents from Salwa or Decathlon. I dont know a lot about Ul tents but if you are solo there are tons of quality options like hammocks or tarp setups that come close to tents or are even better depending on weight and situation.

For a mid/beginner level all purpose weekend hiking tent with lots of comfort id suggest Salewa micra.
For high end 4 season go Hilleberg.

Also second hand buying can be huge on tents. Many people buy MSR or Hilleberg and complain that those are still just tents and not Hotels or buy them for only one trip to Everest base camp. Can find those for fifty percent off.

Big brands and price often comes with good return policy.

Also there never will be a "best" tent its a myth. Just choose one that fits your needs the most.
