>>1137272Expedition Therapy Associates based in St. George UT. They’re incredible people who gave me the tools to save my own life. What’s neat is that the two folks who started it used to work at other programs but they realized how ducking abusive and ineffective a lot of heir methods were so they started their own program. The max capacity is only 10 students in the entire company so it’s really high-quality specialized care. I think what Inlike most about it is that their approach is always collaborative rather than disciplinary. Like, they actually give their students (they don’t call them patients) actual certifications and skills. One expedition we got our PADI scuba diving cert, you can earn your WFR or Lifeguard cert. The stuff they tech you is actually useful and fun. They will bring the hammer down if they have to and don’t take shit from anybody but that’s always a last resort. If you want to work for them I suggest you have a college degree, some guiding experience, alpine training, and at least a WFR certification. I still keep in contact with them and they offered me a job 5 years later.

>>1137275Yeah I’ve heard of Second Nature. Fuck that shit. Nobody at ETA is ever transported. They have a company policy that you have to travel there “willingly.” I have some friends who went to Open Sky but I’ve never talked to anyone from Second Nature. What was it like?
